I have had a passion for photography for as long as I can remember, but I consider myself an artist first and a photographer second. I am always creating things and starting new projects from painting to sewing, even woodworking. I grew up in the mountains that surround Asheville but have always wondered what was out in the rest of the world. I moved to California after high school and attended Brooks Institute where I studied Fine Art Photography.  I moved to Asheville in 2010 to open my own photography studio. My work has been published in Carolina Home & Garden, Asheville Made, and The Laurel of Asheville.

I love photographing Weddings and Families in the beautiful nature that surrounds us. The open sky, rolling Blue Ridge Mountains, and the connection between loved ones inspires me to create beautiful fine art photographs to hang in your home for generations.  I adore shooting B&W medium format film and love to incorporate film in my sessions. Working alongside the client’s planner or designer I use my years of experience to help my clients tailor a photo timeline and advise on locations and styling to achieve the best photographic results.

I am also pleased to offer fine art printing, custom framing, wall art, and handmade leather albums. If you are interested in hiring me for an upcoming event or shoot please fill out the contact form to receive more information and schedule an initial phone call or come by my studio off Charlotte St., in Downtown Asheville to view samples and talk details over banana bread and coffee.
